This house changed use over the years, it was the first concrete house in Ireland after the owner saw designs at the great exhibition that Prince Albert organised. It had everything hand made, ceilings were crafted by Italian tradesmen, floors were inlaid with highly ornate designs, then it became a school for young ladies, then an old peoples home...I think
